A sense of Style- Building a wardrobe

A sense of style. I have none. My wardrobe consist of blue jeans and t-shirts, work uniforms and pajamas. How sad :( Let's all shed a tear.  Shoes?  When your six feet tall and have size (never mind) feet, shoe shopping is not fun. I'd like to know why all the shoes that fit me have a 3 inch heel on them? Hello Shoe Makers- yeah you! Tall women need some comfy, cute low heeled shoes too you know?!!! Sheesh.

Well I'm building a ward robe (again), every year or so I start building a wardrobe and then somewhere in the year I forget I was building a wardrobe and stop looking for pieces and stop buying, or slink back into buying my v neck tees from Target or where ever I can find them for $7 a piece in all the colors of the current season.

So far in my wardrobe quest I have a white shirt. It's the white shirt I bought last year when I was building a wardrobe. It's a nice simple button down white shirt with 3/4 sleeves. Next on my list a nice dark jean and a nice track suit that I can wear at home or out to the market.

I'm Blogging again!

I'm blogging again. Why? Hmm I really don't know why. I did enjoy it when I blogged a couple years ago, but as I moved into a 40 hour work week my blog suffered. Now to get back with my old blogging buddies, if I can find you all.

Let me introduce myself again. My name is Deana but most people call me Dee. I'm from Hawaii but for the last 14 years I've lived in Western Washington with my family. My family consist of my husband Ngahina (you won't know how to pronounce it but if you care to try the g is silent) We have 3 children.

Our oldest child is 23 years old and his name is Zachariah, Zach for short. He's 23 years old and a big teddy bear is a good way to describe him, a few months ago we almost lost him to Meningitis , after a lengthy stay at the hospital, then a few surgeries he is almost fully healed physically and we THANK GOD that he is still with us.

Our middle child is Ariana or Ari for short. She's a handful, a firecracker or sometimes a sweet heart it all depends what side of the bed she wakes up on any given day. We love her fiery spirit but we are waiting for her to calm down as well. She just graduated from High School and is looking for a job, but I suspect not too hard.

Our baby is 11, almost 12. His name is Tainui-Noah and he goes by Noah.  He's bright and witty, loves to crack jokes and is very loving. He's also our soccer star. This kid loves soccer and plays soccer all day long literally. Sometimes we hide his soccer balls cause he will drive you insane in the house kicking them around. It is a very annoying sound to hear in the house.

A little about me. I've been married for 24 years, I'm 44 years young, I work as a deck hand which makes a good living but has sucky hours. Sometimes I love my job and sometimes I hate my job, depends what day you ask me. I have good friends and a nice family. I have many hobbies and little talent. I'm a Christian, trying to live by Gods words. I'm conservative in almost everything except spending $$$ lol One thing that  seriously impacted my life is the death of one of my brothers, he died of cancer over 2 years ago and the pain is still very real and present and has forever changed my life.
